Finding the perfect Winter coat can often prove a challenge. Here’s a roundup of some of my favourite Winter coats for different body types this season.

Curvy: The Bomber Jacket

The bomber jacket is a wardrobe staple for most fashionistas, and is a must have. Sitting nicely on the waist, this jacket highlights one’s curves and silhouette beautifully. I love this polka dot piece from Sizeableau. Paired with black jeans and leather ankle boots, this timeless garment is well worth the buy, and will add volumes of chic and a street style vibe to otherwise everyday outfits.

Tall: The Drape Coat

The drape coat is an elegant and timeless wardrobe essential for those who are tall. They highlight one’s height in a stunning way, often reaching the knee. I love this Ruby Sees All Graces Coat because the leopard print detailing adds an edgy and cool-girl vibe to the look, making this piece perfect for dinner out with girlfriends as well as after-work drinks.

Busty: The Wrap Coat

For those with a busty frame, I’d recommend a wrap coat as a go-to look this Winter. They keep you nice and snug and add class to any look. Think top knots and bright and bold accessories, perfect to lighten up a grey cloudy day! This Sizeable coat worn here by Kimba Likes certainly meets the brief.

Petite: The Leather Jacket

The leather jacket is ideal for those on the smaller side, often sitting just above the waist. This jacket can to work paired with a leather midi pencil skirt or skinny jeans and/or to a date at a country winery with high-heeled boots and a felt fedora. A Pair of Ones channels this look to a tee.

Booty: The Cocoon Coat

The Cocoon coat is a perfect outer layer and acts like a warm and woolly blanket. It is a statement piece, meaning it works well with a neutral colour scheme when in a bold hue or pattern and vice versa. Image via Adenorah.
